The best ski resort on the Island

Imagine yourself peering down the slopes, taking in the freshly covered high alpine. You push off, gliding down the mountain. Making new tracks, you leave your mark in the fresh white powder. You feel so good you laugh out loud and you wonder what the rest of the world is doing. This is happiness in its purest form. This is Mt. Washington.

Mt. Washington is located about 100 km north of Nanaimo and 25 km west of the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island

"Well what to say about Mt. Washington, to sum it up I would say that it is the best ski resort I have been to and I have skied in B.C. and the Austrian Alps. I am saying this not only on the runs but the staff there are excellent epically the ski patrol. It seems that they are always around patrolling and controlling the skiers and the boarders.I have been going there since it opened in 1979 and I have seen it grow into an excellent resort.
